Where’s The Rain?

I hope all of you enjoyed a beautiful summer weekend in our area. Saturday had a high of 83. Sunday’s high was 80. After the heavy rain in the middle of June, the rain has been almost non-existent. We have had less than 3/10ths of an inch of rain over the last 25 days. This is almost three inches below average. We had some rain early Saturday morning, but most areas only received a .10 of an inch of rain.

Our next chance of rain comes on Tuesday night. At this point it looks like a good chance of rain, but it does not look like a huge amount of rain.

After that, the rest of the week looks pretty dry. This is good news for Festa, Port Fish Day, and the U.S. Bank Championship, but not as good of news for area lawns. In the meantime, enjoy the great summer weather.
